I loved looking at your picture. I notice over the fence you have lots of hills, I wonder if you ever climb them? Please don't think I'm telling you what to do or anything now but just in case you don't know you could train lots of fruit, either soft or tree fruit up that fence of yours. I will try and do a post for you tomorrow so you can see what might be grown.
It's looking so heatlhy and lovely and GREEN!!! Well done you!!!! I remember your first pic of this patch of earth way back in January - and now look at it!!
WONDERFUL!! I hope you and your family are enjoying the fruits of your labour!! yay!
Thanks guys - I'm really pleased with it - and I'm munching my way through broad beans and potatoes at the moment.
Shayla, you're right - the hills are lovely - they are two big parallel ridges that cut acoross the countryside here and you can walk for miles along the tops - and see for miles in every direction!!
I'll look out for your post about what I could grow on that fence - thankyou. It has an easterly aspect and since the prevailing winds are westerlies it's really quite a sheltered spot :-)
The garden looks great to me!
